"As parents navigating the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the loss of access to ABA therapies and sitter services became a prevalent concern to us. In the absence of in-person academic support, caregivers found themselves shouldering the responsibility of teaching essential daily living skills. This became particularly demanding for parents of children requiring continuous and repetitive prompting for routine tasks, creating a dual challenge of providing quality care and fostering independence.
 

In response, we discovered that a simple toolset, comprising a tablet or phone with a speaker or headphones, played a pivotal role in providing repetitive prompting for our child's routine. This not only reduced our child's dependence on us but also afforded us, as parents, a much-needed break. Following pre-recorded video and audio instructions, our child began independently performing tasks such as brushing their teeth, taking showers, and using the toilet.
